Shelby O. Cooper, MD completed his undergraduate
training at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana
achieving a Bachelor of Science Degree. He achieved his
doctor of medicine degree at the Indiana University School
of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed his internship
at Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio.
Dr. Cooper developed a keen interest in obstetrics
and gynecology and decided to complete advanced residency
training at the prestigious Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
As an obstetrician, Dr. Cooper became interested in the
issues facing infertile couples. He wanted to enhance his
skills so that he could help these couples achieve their
dreams of creating a family.
He attended numerous advanced training
courses and seminars designed to hone his clinical diagnostic
skills.
Deb holds a BS degree in nursing from the University
of Evansville, an MS degree in Education and Counseling
from Indiana University, and a degree as Women's Health
Care Nurse Practitioner from Indiana University. She is
nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner by NCC.
Deb has 15 years experience in labor and delivery,
high risk pregnancy, and has worked extensively with couples
experiencing pregnancy loss. She has developed programs
in dealing with pregnancy loss at the hospital level. Deb
has been a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner since
1996 and has worked at AFG in Assisted Reproduction since
1999.
Her experience in the field of Women's Health
Care has been invaluable in her work with the Infertile
Couple. She has gained experience in the ART program and
is the IVF Coordinator for AFG.
